• Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect your email address, profile name, and profile picture to create and authenticate your account.
• Child Profile Information: You may optionally provide your child's first name to personalize the stories. This data is kept strictly within your account context.

B. Information Automatically Collected

• Usage Data: We collect information on how you interact with the App, such as stories read, reading history, favorites, and story progress.
• Device Information: We may collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers) to help diagnose crashes and improve app performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

• To Provide and Maintain the App: Including cloud synchronization of your reading history and favorites across devices.
• Personalization: To dynamically insert your child's name into the story text.
• To Improve the App: Analyzing usage trends to create better stories and features.
• To Process Subscriptions: Managing your Premium access via third-party providers (e.g., RevenueCat, Google Play).

3. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. The App uses:

• Firebase Authentication & Cloud Firestore (Google): For account login and secure cloud synchronization of your data.
• RevenueCat: To manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. No payment details (credit card numbers) are collected by us; they are handled entirely by Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Sakadang is designed to be used by parents and guardians to read to their children, not to be used by children directly without supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information directly from children under the age of 13. The "Child Name" feature only stores a first name locally and securely on our cloud to customize the reading experience. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have inadvertently collected personal data from your child, please contact us so we can delete the information.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
